Emergencies

In case of a dental emergency please call our main office number at 281.488.2483 for further instructions on how to reach our doctors.

How are Appointments Scheduled?

The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience when time is available.  Young children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort.  School children with treatment work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.  Missing school or work can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.  We print out a professional excuse to be taken to the school when you request one.

Please make every effort to keep scheduled appointments.  Once an appointment is scheduled, it is considered confirmed.  If an appointment needs to be rescheduled, a 48 hour notice is appreciated.  There may be a missed appointment charge if a 24 hour notice

is not given.

Do I Stay with My Child During the Visit?

In our practice, parents are always welcome in the treatment areas at all times.  We feel this is best for the child and gives the doctor the best situation to explain all development factors and treatment needs.

Financial Policies

Investing in your smile, your health for a lifetime……

Both doctors’ diagnosis and treatment of you and your family will be based on their training, professional training and the most excellent treatment options available.  What your insurance dictates financially may not cover the full fee for the treatment a patient needs.

We feel that excellent dental treatment should not become a financial burden and you or your child deserve the most excellent treatment.   Our team is here to help you achieve just that. For your convenience, we accept Master Card, Visa and the Care Credit Card.

Care Credit is a simple payment plan program that can work for you to get the treatment you or your child need.  You may use the link below to learn more about this program and how to apply. Click here for more about Care Credit

Insurance & Payment Procedures

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file on all traditional indemnity insurance plans.  You will have a treatment plan before any appointments are scheduled so you will know what your insurance will pay and what you will be responsible for the day of service.  This portion is estimated on the information your insurance provides and is not a guarantee of payment.  It is always wise to call your insurance company and be aware of your plans details.

Fee & Payment Policy

We request that account balances be cleared within 60 days of service.  You may use your Master Card, Visa or Care Credit card.  Payment arrangements are available upon special request.

Insurance

We are happy that you have dental insurance.  Since there are many companies and they all cover at different rates, it is very confusing for the dental office and the patient or parent to know what the insurance will actually pay.  To keep things as simple as possible and less confusing, our policy is to charge the same fee to all patients so it is as fair as possible.

We will accept payment from your insurance company for the portion they will cover for the total cost.  Since this portion can range from 25% to 100%, we will give you an estimate of your portion based on the experience working with your company and the information they have provided us on your coverage.  We do our very best to do estimates but depending on the insurance payment, you may be required to make an additional payment or you may receive a refund.

We are pleased to offer electronic billing to our families with dental insurance.  With your complete subscriber information, we can electronically bill the primary insurance carrier when services are rendered.  In order to successfully process a claim, the following information is necessary:  The subscriber’s name, address, birthdate, social security number, employer and the insurance company name, address and phone number.

Statements

At the end of each month statements are sent.  Any activity, such as charges and personal or insurance payments will appear on your statement. Account balances are considered due and payable regardless of pending insurance.  In the event of an overpayment on your account, your will receive a refund within 30 days.
